"Technology implies progress, but it is only meaningful when it reaches the hands of the unspoken. Our journey wasn't just about code; it was about trust."

A Decade of Innovation
In 2015, the world was moving towards the cloud, but our villages were still running on paper. When I founded Intech IT Solutions, the challenge wasn't technical, it was cultural.
I remember walking into small businesses in Kalmunai, trying to explain how software could save them time. The skepticism was real. "Why do we need a computer to do what we've done with a ledger for 20 years?" they asked. That was the barrier we had to break. Not by selling, but by educating.
"We didn't stay in air-conditioned offices. We went to the shores to meet fishermen and to the paddy fields to meet farmers. We realized their societies were struggling with loan management, transparency, and manual calculations."
Our breakthrough came when we developed specialized Society Management Systems for local fishermen and farmer cooperatives.
These were communities that had never touched enterprise software. We built simple, localized interfaces that handled their micro-loans, savings, and membership details. We sat with them, trained them, and watched as their hesitation turned into confidence.
Seeing a society treasurer generate a balance sheet with one click, a task that used to take him days, was our first real victory. That was when Intech truly arrived.
Today, Intech IT Solutions serves over 100+ clients, ranging from those same rural societies to large corporate enterprises in Colombo. We have grown, but our core philosophy remains unchanged: Technology must simplify life.
Whether it's FoodyMe helping restaurants or SmartCashier streamlining retail, every line of code we write is a tribute to that early mission of empowerment.
I love connecting with fellow entrepreneurs and dreamers. Let's discuss how we can use technology to solve your problems.
